about me
Coach A started his career as the men’s varsity soccer assistant at Pflugerville High School in 2005. After four years, he accepted the head men’s job at Vandegrift High School when they first opened in 2009 with freshmen and sophomores. The program built was heavily focused on character building, technical skill, and family-oriented atmosphere which has led to much of the success surrounding Vandegrift men’s soccer program from 2009 to 2016.
The first senior class (class of 2012) team finished as 5-Time Champions including 51-AAAA District Champions, Regional Quarter-Final Champions, and finished inside the Top 16 in Texas soccer. Since then, every senior class under his coaching career has been either ranked or finished in the Top 16 in Texas Soccer division. With 5 male senior classes, his teams were District Champions twice and runner-up the other three times.
